Wayne Rooney has agreed a new five-year deal at Manchester United

Wayne Rooney has made a U-turn just days after saying he wanted to leave Manchester United.

'm signing a new deal in the absolute belief that the management, coaching staff, board and owners are totally committed to making sure United maintains its proud winning history - which is the reason I joined the club in the first place.

"I'm sure the fans over the last week have felt let down by what they've read and seen. But my position was from concern over the future. The fans have been brilliant with me since I arrived and it's up to me through my performances to win them over again."

Peter Lim Confirms Liverpool Interest

Liverpool take over talks have taken a new twist once again with billionaire Peter Lim confirming his interest to take over the club. Mr Lim, is offering to repay all of Royal Bank of Scotland's and Wachovia's £200m of long-term debt, to take on £60m of other debt and to inject £40m of working capital. he is also offering to provide tens of millions of pounds to Liverpool's manager, Roy Hodgson, to allow him to buy players when the transfer window opens in January.

Personally i would be happy if this guy takes over the club, as he seems to be a no nonsense person which is exactly what Liverpool FC needs at this time.

Euro 2012 Qualifiers - John Terry out

Defender John Terry will miss England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro on Tuesday after injuring his back in training.

"Terry was assessed by England medical staff on Sunday and will not be fit to play any part in Tuesday's game", the statement said.

I bet he got that back injury getting another one of his team -mates girlfriend pregnant.

Frankly you will not be missed Terry... Gerrard clearly can handle the captaincy.

"The Liverpool Conundrum"

Oh boy, from being the most successful club

in the history of English football to finishing 7th last season

and being beaten at home by recently promoted team

Blackpool, no doubt this is one of the most dreaded

times in the history of Liverpool FC. Some may put the blame

of the clubs current condition on the previous manager Rafael

Benitez and others may say that the joint American owners are the main problem.

So who do i believe is to be blamed ????

I say all parties.. the American owners who clearly do not have the clubs interest at heart,

Rafael Benitez for his inexcusable squad selection process

and last but not least the players of Liverpool who are clearly not playing at their full potential that we know that they can perform at.

It has been a rough start for new manager Hodgson and it seems things won't get any better for him, if the club gets new ownership hey could be sacked.

In an effort to keep control of the Anfield side, Hicks and Gillett have claimed they have replaced Purslow and Ayre with Hicks' son Mack and Lori Kay McCutcheon, a vice president at Hicks Holdings - giving the co-owners a majority on the board and with it the ability to block any sale.

I say the quicker the club is sold the better it will be for Liverpool, let’s hope this gets settled quickly.
